Owner is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations, flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments.
Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst being walked. TJ's Wagging In All Weathers is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in my care.
Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog not suitable for walking or Pet Sitting including behavioral or health problems, antisocial behavior; including aggression, incontinence or lack of house training and excessive loud barking or whining. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner’s dog unsuitable for walking or Pet Sitting will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement.
Ill make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. I recommend owners provide me with a contact number of a trusted third party should i be unable to make contact. However, i reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by TJ's Wagging In All Weathers.
Late Payment Of Commercial Debts Act 1988 amended 1998 & 2002, we would like to remind customers that payments are due at the end of each working week or after each walk. We as a company reserve the right to impose a £3.00 initial late payment fee if a payment is more than two days overdue, then £1 charged on a daily basis from the third day until payment is received in full.
Cancellation:-
(Walking) You may cancel your booked slot and provided you give a minimum of 24-hours notice, you will not be charged. However, if cancellaton is made within 24-hours of the walk commencing, the full rate will be charged.
( Pet Sitting ) Due to the number of cancellations from Pet Sitting or Overnights, I am unfortunately now going to be asking clients to pay a 10% deposit when booking these services in.
If i have more than 4 weeks' notice and a client needs to cancel, the client would be entitled to a full refund. If i do not receive any notice within 4 weeks before the service, the client will lose their deposit.
If i get less than 7 days' notice, it will result in the client needing to pay 50% of the total amount.
Once Pet Sitting or Overnights commences, full payment is due under any circumstances.
Charges:-
(Walking) Charges are as advertised on my rates page. Please visit the payment rates section on my website to view them fully. Please be aware that my rates are very competitive and are not negotiable.
( Pet Sitting ) Charges are per day (not night) this applies from when TJ's Wagging In All Weathers arrives to when TJ's Wagging In All Weathers leaves.
Flexibility is required:-
(1) I am fully insured to walk up to six dogs at a time. Whilst every effort is made to have walks one-to-one, most of the time your dog will be walked with other friendly dogs.
(2) Your booked time is estimated only and whilst i make every effort to arrive at the time given, depending on road conditions and unforeseen circumstances, please allow approximately 30 minutes after your booked time slot for TJ's Wagging In All Weathers to attend. In adverse weather conditions please understand that I am still open and may be slightly delayed. If however, if I am more than two hours overdue then TJ's Wagging In All Weathers will refund your walk or offer to swap to another time slot. When walking up to 6 dogs, Please note that time will start from when TJ's Wagging In All Weathers arrives at your property. Clients may also make further requests to TJ's Wagging In All Weathers which will take extra time out of your booked walk.
